The Cycle
The Cycle
Water moves in a perpetual cycle. It rises to the skies as water vapor and forms clouds, then returns to earth as rain until sooner or later it rises again as water vapor. Waterworks extract drinking water from groundwater, spring water and surface water and pass it on to their customers. After it is used, the water flows through the sewage system into the purification plants, is purified there and subsequently ends up in the rivers. The water cycle continues.
So in fact water cannot be used up, it can only be consumed.
It is part of every individual’s responsibility, however, to be sparing with water so that in the future available sources will likewise not be reduced.
